These little cake bars were really fun, but very time consuming. This recipe would have taken half the time, had we purchased an additional baking pan. I just ordered an extra pan, to keep on hand for future baking sessions! Like usual, the only additional ingredient required is water (Yay!). As with other Easy Bake mixes, the flavor is pretty much what you would expect - good, but nothing to write home about. Honestly, I would have preferred the red velvet cake to not even be there, the strawberry was much sweeter! The kid was a little disappointed in the number of heart sprinkles that came with the kit. Some of them were broken (which she immediately gobbled up), and there were really only enough to put 1 heart onto each cake (even though the box had 3 on each cake). She was a proper, little lady and shared with both Mommy and Daddy, but she ate most of them herself. LOL
